Sue Green has donated her time to our Community Gardening Program for about four years, soliciting, gleaning and transporting donated seeds and plants for use by our community gardeners.
Sue said she immediately felt at home the first time she spoke with our executive director. "There was an energy, a vibrancy that resonated within me," she said. "I feed off that enthusiasm."
Without Sue's help, it would be very difficult to provide our gardeners with so many fine seeds and plants.
Giving of Yourself
Here are just a few stories of people who are having a tremendous impact on our work:
Weedwacking, tilling, and more
Building a shed
Helping in the office
Of course, there are lots of ways in addition to these that you help. If you just love to work outside, if you have a particular skill or you just want to help out occasionally with different tasks, please give us a call and well get you involved. We can always use your help.
