Helping in the Office

Russell Sage College senior Sarah Rezey started volunteering at Capital District Community Gardens last spring. Like many students, she needed to fulfill a community service requirement. But Sarah's been helping out ever since with mailings, office work and special events. "It's a well-organized, feel-good environment," she said.

Giving of Yourself
Here are just a few stories of people who are having a tremendous impact on our work:

Gleaning and transporting seeds

Weedwacking, tilling, and more

Building a shed

Of course, there are lots of ways in addition to these that you help. If you just love to work outside, if you have a particular skill or you just want to help out occasionally with different tasks, please give us a call and we’ll get you involved. We can always use your help.
